A panel shop serving Wisconsin and northern Illinois

Our UL 508A panel shop is part of Gross Automation's 38,000 sq ft facility in Brookfield, Wisconsin. We serve plants, equipment builders and public-sector buyers across the Milwaukee and Waukesha area, southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, and ship panels across the United States and internationally.

Local to Milwaukee, Waukesha and Brookfield

Being close to the shop makes a difference on panel work:

  • Start-up and service from the same team. Start-up and commissioning on site can be quoted with the build, and our engineers handle service calls and PLC troubleshooting across southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Start-up and field service →
  • Pick-up as panels finish. Local customers can collect panels from the shop as each one is finished, which suits projects that come up in stages.
  • Seeing the build. Factory acceptance testing to a customer's procedure is available, and some customers' teams inspect batches at the shop before they ship.

What we build for the region

Pump and lift-station panels for municipal water and wastewater, motor control and drive panels, PLC and HMI panels for plants and machine builders, power distribution and generator panels, and build-to-print runs for equipment builders. Control panels by type →

Industries include water and wastewater, power and utilities, food and beverage, machine building, material handling, renewables, data centers, defense and government, and research labs.

Beyond the region

Panels ship across the United States and internationally, and a project outside the region starts the same way: send the drawings and requirements, and we quote the build. Panels can be listed for Canada (cUL, to CSA C22.2 No. 286) as well as the United States (UL 508A), under UL File E239160.
