Build-to-print and OEM
Your design, built and certified in our shop
Send the drawings and we build the panels: one, a few, or several dozen identical cabinets for an equipment program, through the shop's UL 508A program.
How build-to-print works with us
- Your drawings. We build to your schematics and layouts. If something would keep a panel from meeting UL 508A, such as component placement or the parts that set the SCCR, we say so before we build.
- Your parts, ours, or both. Panels can be built with components you supply, components we supply, or a mix.
- Repeat runs. Equipment builders use us for batches from a few panels to several dozen identical cabinets for one program.
- Brands. ABB and Danfoss are our core lines; we also build with WEG, Beijer, Socomec and Hammond and nVent enclosures, and with other brands where the specification calls for them.
Federal and public work
For projects with domestic-content requirements, we can assemble panels to Buy America, Build America (BABA) requirements. Municipal bid responses, mostly for water and wastewater, are regular work for the shop.
What to send
- The drawing set. Schematics, panel layout and bill of materials.
- Who supplies what. Which parts you will send, and which we should supply.
- The ratings. Supply voltage, available fault current and the enclosure rating.
- Quantity and schedule. One build or a program, and the dates.
